The Modpod

A quintessentially Kiwi house, the Modpod is underpinned by a Pacific Rim design philosophy. With its clean weatherboard lines and copious deck space, the house reflects the kiwi national identity, unique lifestyle and impulsive weather.

The crisp linear aspect is also an interior aesthetic feature, with both weatherboard and timber decking wrapping inside the house through an enclosed deck.

Versatile functionality was a key design focus with the interior layout designed to make the best use of space.

At one end of the main living area, a wall of full-height timber doors hides a sleek family-sized kitchen.
