The owners of this existing eight-year old home in Remuera felt it was time to update the house to suit their changing needs. A large portion of existing plaster cladding was replaced with James Hardie Linea Weatherboards. This created clean lines and a contrast of texture and colour.

The existing outdoor courtyard missed the afternoon sun. The solution was to instal large bifold doors in the living area and construct an expansive deck on unused land. Bamboo flooring was sanded and stained a dark chocolate. A full interior re-paint, new carpet and a re-lacquered kitchen combined to give a fresh new look.
