Smart Bar

Creating a point of difference is essential for any new bar or club. For the owners of this Pukekohe bar, the design inspiration came from the 60's television comedy Get Smart.

An iconic Bar and night life venue, the Smart Bar is situated in one of Pukekohe's Historic Buildings. The owners brief was that the original façade must remain untouched, while the interior needed to be completely gutted and rebuilt - from the foundations up. The original structure was also on a significant lean, requiring the structure to be reinforced to prevent further movement.
